It’s Friday, and I’m headin’ out!
I’m quickly writing this post before I run out the door to meet up with Jenn. She brilliantly suggested a few weeks ago that we head on over to Mac and get makeovers… and tonight is the night we have booked for that. It’s an awesome idea, actually, because I’m sure that I could use a change in colours — and everyone knows I’m fairly conservative in the makeup department. On the other hand, I hope they don’t go too wild, either!
Two nights ago, I was yacking to Tod — a good friend of mine who became that way because I was a meddlesome friend to Kim. It’s a long story, but basically, I took it upon myself to email Tod’s personal ad online for Kim (who was single at the time and getting frustrated with the guys she was meeting online) and he responded. Suffice to say, they hit it off, and now they’re married! WHOOHOOO! You go guys. Anyhow, I was having a quick conversation with him while he was on the road the other day, and he said that he wanted to become blog-famous… so here is your mention, Tod! Yay! 
Wasn’t that exciting? Like he isn’t famous enough. (sheesh) He just happens to contribute to (I think) four radio shows on CBC, used to have his own radio show called TodRadio (awesome fun!! Bring it back!!), is on the speaking circuit, and even reported for CBC Television as their national technology reporter. Um, ya Tod, you don’t need to be blog-famous! 
Well, I’d better run, as I don’t want to keep Jenn waiting. I’m sure we’ll get out afterwards for some yummy food and beverages, too. TGIF!
