The countdown begins!
14 days. Two weeks. Less than half a month. Any way you put it… I’m so lookin’ forward to a vacation, especially one that involves Texas. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday! I’m heading out just three days after that day of hell, so it’ll be good to forget just how old I’m turning. We’ll just call it 25 — we can all be good with that number, right? It’s only a number afterall, and besides, I still get ID’d. So there.
Ed came over tonight and we went out for yumminess at Milestones. Shhh… I should have been working tonight — I have a lot of work on my plate at the moment, and I should have been at home doing that to catch up. Unfortunately, I’ve already cancelled on Ed once and been re-scheduled by him once, so tonight was basically the only available night for both of us. It’s all good. I plan on waking up early tomorrow to finish off the dire stuff for my clients.
I’m hoping to catch up with Zoë tomorrow night for a couple of martinis and yacking… I know she was harried tonight packing for both her and Jason for their trip to Hawaii this coming weekend. He’s out of town on business, so she’s panicking a little trying to get everything ready for their departure. Hopefully, she’ll have got most of it done, and we can catch up for at least a few hours tomorrow night. (She probably spent most of the night on the phone, knowing her… LOL — at least she’s a good multi-tasker!)
It’s crazy how similar my life is to Deetria’s at the moment. I just looked up plane ticket prices for her last night on Travelocity — and they were cheaper than I expected to Ohio. She has decided to take the rest of her summer after this one crazy 6 week course off, to spend some time on her own — so it’s a good time to take a trip, heh? I hear Ohio is wonderful at this time of the year! You go, girl!
Well, I guess I should try to do a little bit of work before bed. Sigh. Please don’t call me a work-a-holic — I just care about my clients.
