A homebody for a change.
Hmmmm… this isn’t like me! I spent most of the weekend at home, either cleaning up, working, or chatting online. I need to get out and enjoy the fresh air and remember what living is! (It’s only been one weekend inside, and I feel like I’ve been here for two weeks.)
I had a fun “virtual” date on Friday night with Chris — it was improptu, as I was planning on going out but ended up not feeling like it. We got on videophone, after I made a quick trip out to the local liquor store to purchase a bottle of wine for the chat. It was fun, and nice to see his smile live for a change. His awesome smile and laugh always lift my soul. We’ve been talking frequently on the new audio streaming capabilities of MSN Messenger 6, and that’s been a real money-saver. Long distance bills are a bitch! I’m glad we thought to try this alternative to communication — it’s very good for almost full duplex quality audio.
Because I ended up talking to Chris until about midnight my time on Friday night, and then yacking on the phone to Jenn until far later, I didn’t get to bed until four a.m. This was pretty silly of me, because I was supposed to go out with Deetria last night, and dance the night away, but I was exhausted and jammed on her. So was Jenn, apparently, as she had to work Saturday morning. Ooops. I certainly paid for my lack of sleep yesterday!
This morning saw me trying to finish some little projects for a big client of mine, as well as follow up with another clients issues. I’m thinking of heading out tonight to see “The Italian Job” with Vern, but I’m not sure if he’ll be working until too late to see it. Guess we’ll see.
I’m off to finish my work for this afternoon — take care everyone!

ah well – it’s a fun feeling (kinda) and I went home and crashed knowing the next day was a ‘no committment’ day

I crashed when I went to get changed with the intention of yacking back at you upon hanging up the phone. Darn.
