Yawn!
I had a good weekend! Ed came over and visited after a Christmas party Saturday night — We watched Saturday Night Live, and talked until he had to get home at 3:30. Funny enough, just as Ed was leaving, Jenn called! How does that girl know *exactly* which nights I end up staying up past my bedtime, anyhow? After our marathon chat, I didn’t get to bed until 8am!!! LOL… We’re both bad when we get talking. Too funny.
Sunday afternoon, I headed off to my step-mother’s place for dinner. It was an early Christmas dinner with the whole spread, and it was absolutely delicious. I hadn’t seen some of her family in several years — Like her brother, Steve. As it turns out, he lives right near the office downtown, so I am hoping that he calls to catch up for coffee soon. I’ve always enjoyed Steve’s company, the few times we’ve run into each other over the years.
Today started with a slow start, as I didn’t actually get started working until 10am!! I had some sleep to catch up on, and this cold is still dogging me a bit. Luckily, I have scheduled most of my meetings for tomorrow, so I elected to work from home today to stay focused on some of the “little nitpicky items” that I didn’t finish on Saturday night. No… I didn’t end up going to the open house that I talked about in my previous entry — It was a good thing I didn’t though, because it gave me a bunch of extra time to get some work done that I couldn’t have gotten to this morning.
I did buy a book on singlehood — I’m halfway through, and as of yet, haven’t really read anything that is surprising, or unique but we’ll see! It’s an easy read, anyhow.

Thank the cosmic muff(in) I was able to lug around on Sunday
You know which book I bought (similar theme)? Relationship for Dummies. Seriously, good book that puts people and relationships in a healthy perspective.
hahahah… Jenn! That Paul of yours — You’d think he’d get us by now??
Thanks Dixie! I’ll take a look for that book, because I don’t think I’m going to get much from this one. Sounded good when I picked it up, (It’s called “Still Single?”) but I don’t think there’s much in the way of real tools in it.
I bought my copy at Chapters.
Coolness — I’ll look it up!!
