Day four… how can it be day four already??

Monday! How can it be Monday, already? This vacation is just zooming by…

I had an awesome weekend in Texas — which included seeing the city of Dallas, the city of Fort Worth, exploring the touristy area called the Fort Worth Stockyards (pictures are coming), a visit to a mega WalMart (I thought of you, Channa… you Walmart-a-holic, you!), a visit to Fry’s Electronics (holy crap, that’s a lot of toys in one location — my poor geeky heart almost went into cardiac arrest… I can’t believe I didn’t leave that store without something!), and a trip into the part of Dallas where JFK was shot. We also briefly met up with Michael, who was in town for the weekend, but didn’t get to talk long with him.

As Chris is working today and tomorrow, I decided to do the same — and I’ve gotten a fair amount done today, so tomorrow’s workload is a fairly easy one. Can you believe I’m even meeting up with a client tomorrow afternoon? I figured since I was in the area, I might as well make an appearance and hopefully grab some more work from him. It’s funny how I haven’t met many of my clients in person… I should make more of an effort to find time to do so.

I’m not sure what Chris and I will get up to tonight, but I sure am looking forward to Wednesday onwards! We’ve planned on hitting Six Flags on Wednesday morning, and then driving to San Antonio for two days that evening — Chris says it’s an awesome little getaway, so I’m sure we’ll have a great time exploring that area. Friday night, when we get back to Dallas, we’re off to the American Airlines Center to see THE EAGLES!! (Very cool!) and then Saturday we’re going to a baseball game. It’s going to be a busy few days!!

So… that is what has kept me busy for the last few days, and what’s coming up! I promise to have some pictures from the trip posted soon, so do check the photos section in the next couple of days!
