A weekend of love and relaxation!
Yesterday, one of my very good friends got married… Lorelei and Darren are perfect for each other, and their wedding was truly beautiful. The photo presentation at the reception that Paul (Darren’s father) put on was very touching, as were the toasts… The whole incredible day reminded me that there is definately true love out there, as are soul mates. I can’t think of better matches for either Lorelei or Darren. Congratulations, you guys… you both looked so happy yesterday — and I know that type of happiness will last a lifetime.
I took this morning to myself, and had a relaxing day — I really needed that because I think I’m coming down with something. I’ve been fighting off a headache since I woke up at 8am this morning, but thankfully I think it’s dissipating now. Phew…
I’m off in a few minutes to go and spend some time catching up with Jenn at what’s turning out to be our “regular hang”, Zigz. It’s a cool little hole in the wall on Main Street, which is walking distance from Jenn’s place, so it’s easy to get to, and when their lights are low, it’s a perfect place to share a drink, some appies, and yack.
Thank you everyone that have complimented on the photos from my trip! Most of those photos were actually taken by Chris… so I can’t take the credit. It’s nice to finally have my own digital camera (and one that is reliable) that I can take everywhere with me. There’ll be a lot more fun pics going up as I take them.
