What the hell?
Please, someone smack me.
It is Sunday afternoon, and what am I doing? Let’s see… I went out for brunch with Vern (okay, that’s an acceptable Sunday activity), and then dutifully did the grocery shopping at Costco with him. It’s not like we had food in the house, or I would have put it off for another few days. I could have even starved for a day or two, but we’re out of dishwasher soap, and the machine is definately full. So, no putting off the shopping.
And, now? Now I have to clean up the house, and get some work done that I didn’t complete on Friday afternoon when I got back to the office because of all the attention my new Dell received. So, here I sit, trying to find my motivation as I sit and look out the window at the incredible Sunday afternoon I’m missing outside.
Well, anyhow… that’s my Sunday afternoon. I think I’m going to call Tammy now and see if she wants to go and see “Pirates of the Caribbean” tonight. I know Vern wants to see it too, so maybe I’ll see if I can get a gaggle of friends to go. (after that call, I’ll work… or maybe I’ll build that Ikea end table first that has been sitting in a box for 2 months and then I’ll work, but that’s after I clean first, of course)
Hope everyone else is ENJOYING that beautiful Vancouver weather I can almost experience from this very hot room. (phew — has it been overly hot this summer, or is it just me?).
