Mondays! Let’s abolish them!
Mondays… I could certainly live without them. I have a bunch of stuff to finish off today, and I just can’t seem to stay focused.
I had another great weekend! Friday night I ended up going out with Tammy, Ed, Vern and (later on) Jody. Deetria had to finish a report that night, and couldn’t get out, so it actually worked out well to be able to get out with Tammy to celebrate her birthday that night. It was a fun time, starting off with drinks at the Keg, and then moving on to Milestones for a late dinner…
Although I went into the office with Vern on Saturday, I did sleep in first. I got a ton done that I needed to catch up on — When I ran into a roadblock with one of the sites, I was glad to be in the office than at home, because I stayed on it rather than walking away and doing something else in my frustration. Vern and I grabbed a quick dinner at Red Robin, and gained enough energy to stick it out ’til midnight. It was a productive day.
Sunday was fun, and relaxing. After doing the usual “hunting and gathering” at Costco, it was off to Lorelei’s place for a BBQ. That was fun — especially the Bocce in the dark. LOL. We all knew we had to call it quits when we were arguing over which ball was blue, or green, and when my red balls completely disappeared into the darkness, when it was right next to my foot. Too funny. I’d forgotten how much fun it was to play that game…

sounds like a very good weekend
Oh come now – according to Molson’s, Mondays are for drinking beer!
The way yesterday went, I would have been better off spending the day drinking beer — There’s something to that ad campaign!
Spent Monday in a day long Ganja haze! Awwwwwesome!
I’m all good with abolishing Mondays… let’s hear it for 3 day weekends every week!
your comments are very weird, I can see it says there are five, but I can only see one
Ya, Col — I know. It’s that darn mySQL database issue. I love my hosting provider, but their caching is bizarre (they say they don’t cache, but I KNOW they do).
Sigh. I get what I pay for I guess — $14.95 USD per month for hosting up to 5 URLs on one account. Pretty sweet.
I’m all for 3 day weekends too, Sandy! Let’s get on that.
Ed… what else is new? What did you do, call in sick?? Baaaaaad Ed. Baaaaad. LOL. You are just trying to get out of that Oracle stuff, aren’t you??
