Me schick today, shniff.
I woke up two days ago feeling a little under the weather, with a very sore throat, and I went downhill really quickly. I ended up working too much this weekend I think — I’ve been pushing myself to get ahead with work before I leave in a week and a bit for my vacation (I’m really starting to look forward to the time away now!). I guess I might have pushed a little too much, though.
Lisa had her baby on Friday morning! YAY! They are now proud parents of a baby girl, Samantha Grace and when I saw her in the hospital that afternoon, I couldn’t help but to think that Lisa is so lucky to have such an incredible family of her own. From what I hear, her “big brother” Daniel (see “mugs of friends” for his pic with Lisa) was so excited it was a baby sister… I’m sure he’s going to do very well with the transition of being an only child to being the protective older brother. He’s a great kid!
I’ve taken my dating profiles down — I was just too overwhelmed with emails from men that really did not fit my lifestyle nor my long-term goals. There’s still one guy that I really quite like, but I’m not sure that either he or I have enough time to be traveling to see each other (he lives about an hour away from my place) — time will tell. Once I get back from my vacation, I’ll re-think the whole dating scene thing, and figure out if I really want to be dating people from online. To be honest, I’m quite happy being single, and although there’s not much intimacy in my life, I have a great bunch of friends who give me more than enough validation and attention for now. Who knows what the future holds?
Sniff… I think I need to go take a nap, and see if this head cold will dissipate!

what kinda work do you do?
I’m a web application developer, as well as a graphic designer… basically if it has anything to do with marketing materials and concepts, I do it.
