Here I sit.
Yeah. Err, I’m sitting at work, and although normally I’m far more focused in the office, I can’t seem to get enough items checked off my arm-length to-do list to reduce the panic today. Being a Wednesday, I should be going skiing tonight, but it’s already 3:15 in the afternoon, and if I take off at 5pm, I’ll have to work when I get home tonight. I don’t relish that thought. It’s probably better that I just stay here and get this pending list shortened, I think.
Mark and Melodie won’t be skiing with me tonight, anyhow… They apparently have other things to get to tonight, so it’s not like I have anyone to take along, anyhow. I guess that’s a sign that I should be working, and keeping my clients happy.
I’m looking forward to the “Open House” that I’m putting on, on Friday evening. Being such short notice (I only started planning and inviting people yesterday) I’m sure that the turn out isn’t going to be spectacular, but it should be fun, nonetheless! There’s nothing better than sharing some cocktails with good friends over the Christmas holidays! (Um, okay, almost nothing better!) 
I’d better get back to this list du jour.
