Great party last night!
Jason and Zoë, you guys give great parties! I had a total blast last night catching up with everyone, and meeting some new people, too. It was awesome to celebrate Jenn and Paul’s engagement amung so many neat people… Two thumbs up you guys! Jenn and Paul looked incredibly happy, (see pictures here) and it looked like everyone had a fabulous time. I’m looking forward to adding to the photo album with the pictures from Jason’s camera, as mine died after nine pics. (Darnit!)
Zoë reminded me as well that the girls get together these days on Thursday nights, so I think I’m going to start getting out to some of those gatherings. 2004 is going to be the year that I finally make more time for my personal life, thus achieving a better balance between work and play, overall — This is certainly a good way to do that, as I always enjoy Zoë and her friends’ company when I’m out with them.
Also, I was delighted to hear that Zoë’s friends (and Jason, I imagine?) are putting together a belated birthday party for her next Saturday — That’s super news! As I mentioned in a previous blog posting, poor Zoë’s birthday falls on New Year’s Day, and she always gets ripped off… I’m glad we’ll be celebrating it properly next Saturday night!
As for the “sink or swim” scenario that Jeremy was thrown into (Poor guy… I’m so evil), he seemed to have a great time meeting everyone, and from the remarks I got from those that knew that this was only our third date, my friends enjoyed meeting him as well. Heck, by the third hour, Jenn was making people play with Jeremy’s hair (I’m not sure why — I didn’t catch it!
) so, that’s probably a good sign that she thought he was a pretty cool guy. We had to get Jeremy home at a reasonable hour, as he had to work at 6am (ZOIKS!) today. I am sure he didn’t get much more than four hours sleep, so I bet he’s pretty tired today.
I’m going to head out with Vern to see Big Fish tonight for something to do. Yes, yes… I didn’t get as much work done as I’d hoped to today, but I’ve gotta get some relaxing in before my busy week next week. Besides, I can always work a little more tonight after the early movie, so I’m not stressing yet.

Jenn decided that my hair was unusually soft. And for reasons as yet unknown, she felt compelled to prove it to everyone, by telling them (not asking them) to rub my head. I felt like Aladin’s Lamp….. but it was all good.
you have damn ass soft hair man – and my continual touchin of thy hair is merely a sign of…um…well….ok I’m just an odd person sometimes
shanks for coming out to the partay – twas supa!
[[silly grin]] Jenn… was WAY funny to look over, (thinking to myself just before I did: Hope Jeremy is having fun) to see you and three other people rubbing his head. HAHAHAH! I guess there was no question of him having a good time…
soft hair eh? is jeremy a metrosexual ? *grin*
well… he *does* have soft hair. I’ll have to ask him what he does to make it that way!
