I’d forgotten what getting flowers is like.
Long stem red roses were delivered to my office yesterday! How sweet is Jeremy? It’s been sooo long since I’ve received flowers from a guy that my mouth dropped. Add in the fact that I’ve never had flowers delivered to me, at work or anywhere else for that matter, and I was ecstatic! The guys at the office had to give me a hard time of course — Oh, yes, so did the guys in the next office as well. Too funny.
Thanks for making my day, J!
Last night was a lot of fun! As it was the first “Girls Night” out with Zoe and her friends, I wasn’t sure what to expect… We had some great laughs! We (Wendy, Sue, Carrie {sorry if I spelt that wrong}, Zanita, Zoe and myself) started the evening at Subees, and then moved down the street to Zoe’s place, where we all had a couple of martinis and laughed about the silly things we’re all dealing with lately. We talked about those things that you just don’t necessarily want to talk about in mixed company, and we planned our next big outing on the 29th — We’re heading out to Zin’s on Robson to take advantage of the $25 “Dine-Out Vancouver” deal.
Tonight I’m meeting up with Jeremy (yay!) in New West to have dinner and drinks at the Paddlewheeler Pub at the Quay with my brother and Diane. I’m excited to hear all about how things are going with my brother now that he’s got my neice full time. I’m sure Jeremy will enjoy meeting them as well — They always have a way of making people feel completely at ease (or, better put, completely bowled over with laughter). I’m sure it’ll be a fun night!

Yep — He’s a special guy
Yeah… special, as in ‘Telethon’ type of special (at least that’s what my co-workers tell me)
Oh Grrr… How frustrating. Chris, I guess you are experiencing this, too?
Ack. I hope that they fix it soon!

Hey Dixie!
It’s a lot of fun getting to know someone new, as well as integrate them into your circle of friends.
How’s Mr. Hottie and you doing these days? Good I hope!

And beware of evil monkeys that live in the closet.

Has anyone ever considered how odd the word “monkey” looks?
