Happy ski night day!

Last night’s visit with Jenn was really awesome. It’s been quite a while since her and I have gotten together and caught up with each other’s lives. I can’t explain it, but I can talk to Jenn about anything, and know that she understands and isn’t judging me. As a matter of fact, she regularily sees reason and definition in subjects that I fail to see… I always walk away after an evening of talking with her feeling a greater sense of clarity. It’s really nice to have friends like that.

As we started off the night in her neck of the woods, we walked over to “Zigz” — A little cafe/bar on Main that has decent food and a never-ending stream of people from all walks of life — And enjoyed some appetizers and a drink while discussing the latest happenings in each of our worlds. As usual, when we got back to her place, she sent me home with borrowed items of clothing and a book on astrology that I often refer to for the entertainment value while I’m visiting. I don’t think I’ve ever been to Jenn’s when I haven’t taken something of hers home to borrow, come to think of it… It’s pretty funny.

I’m really glad she’s joining Jeremy and I to explore the the “All About Sex” show at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre on Saturday. I haven’t been to that show in the previous years that it’s been put on in Vancouver, but I hear it’s always a smashing success! It’ll be interesting to walk through it with two people who obviously don’t have any hang-ups about sexuality. I have no doubt that we’ll all have a great time and some good laughs.

Work is finally settling down to a more manageable pace today. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed yesterday being pulled in too many directions, while knowing that I couldn’t stay late to take care of everything. Thankfully I did have a short period of time at the end of the day to finish off the annoying stuff so that I didn’t have to walk into it today… Because I’m not able to stay late today either! I’m off skiing again tonight — And even though it’ll be on my own again this week, I actually found my learning curve a little easier to settle into by myself last week. By the time Mark and Melodie are joining me for our weekly skiing adventure again, I’ll be well-prepared to keep up to them!

I’m missing Jeremy, today — That’s a good sign, hey? We’re having a lot of fun learning about each other… I’m really looking forward to our evening out tomorrow night at the Austrailian Wine Fair.

Yer too funny, Col. Looking forward to finally meeting you sometime next week. I can’t believe we live so close to each other, know a great deal about each other for a while now, and haven’t actually met yet.

Good times… [[said in my best SNL skit voice]]
