The didgeridoo is my new favourite instrument

I’m thankful that Jeremy suggested that we start our evening out at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown last night before heading off to the Westin Bayshore Hotel. If my head wasn’t pounding so damn hard this morning, I’d have a huge smile on my face right now. We had sooo much fun at the Austrailian Wine Fair — All my favourite wineries were there — Wolf Blass, Rosemount Estates, Black Opus, and Annvers. Jeremy and I both agreed that the best wine there was without a doubt the Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Ridge Quartage. The whole experience was exceptionally delicious!

I’m still laughing at one thing that happened while we were tasting all the wines… Jeremy had picked up a fridge magnet from one of the tables, and the man serving the wine there said, “Would you like another one for her fridge?” I leaned over and quietly asked him how he knew I’d have my own fridge, and he said he could tell we didn’t live together because we looked so happy. Halarious! That guy was quite the character!

My morning started off far too early today. I stayed the night at Jeremy’s last night, and his alarm went off at 7:15 a.m. I couldn’t believe that it was truly that late in the morning, and begged him to give me another few minutes of sleep. I was a freekin zombie this morning, and after all the wine consumption last night, my head felt like it was going to pop off. Thankfully after a muffin, and some coffee, I’m finally starting to feel better.

My personal fave was the older gentleman (who did, in fact, have his wife with him), who was wearing non-matching checked pants and jacket, along with a pastel peach dress shirt, and a cobalt blue tie. Holy fashion faux-pas, Batman!

That was quite a fashion freek, that guy. I was SURE he was single. What woman in their right mind would let someone go out dressed like that??

You know, the Digeridoo has been used by the Abbos for thousands of years? Also The Aphex Twin popularized it as recently as 1992 in the Selected Ambient Works Vol I album?
