Happy hump day!
Yay! I’m finally getting stuff accomplished these days. Thank you Alexander Fleming, for paving the way to today’s antibiotics!
Colene and I *finally* met up last night! We had a nice chat at Starbucks over lattes, and I’m glad we finally found some time to meet in person. She’s great! What a cool person — I can see her going places in short order. We’ll definitely have to meet up again soon.
The timing was perfect last night, because just after I left Starbucks, Jenn called to say she was almost at the Burrard Skytrain station — We’d planned on catching up for a drink last night after she got off of work. It was kind of funny, though, because we both started walking towards The Keg Ceasars, only to stop and say, uh, I don’t exactly remember what road it is located on? Neither of us could picture it clearly. To make it even funnier, two women stopped us on the street to ask where it was as well (tourists from Victoria) — Then it occurred to me, it was on Dunsmuir. Duh. I only drive by it most days of the week. Anyhow, we finally made it there, and had a great chat before Vern picked us up after his Cypress Ski night… I got home, and to bed, at a reasonable hour for a change.
I feel great today.
Now, I’d better get some work done, because I’ve promised two separate projects be completed this afternoon, and it’s going to take time to get them both done.
Hmmmm… I just realized I don’t have any plans whatsoever for tonight. How did that get past me?
