Questions, questions, questions…
Col offered up some questions again for blog material… So here it goes! (If you’d like me to provide some unique questions to post in your blog, please comment below!)
- Who do you miss?
I really miss a close friend that I had for many years. She’s still around, but busy with her own life, and our relationship hasn’t been the same in a very long time. It’s hard, really, because I’d love to dial back the clock some, and do things a bit differently so that I could have preserved our close friendship we once shared. She knows who she is… The only close friend in my life who was there for me in a huge way after my car accident so long ago. Even though we aren’t close anymore — I haven’t even seen her in almost 8 months now, I think — she’ll always be someone special to me. - What is your greatest achievement?
This is an easy question! I’m so proud of the fact that I took the risk and went out on my own, business-wise. I absolutely love my career path, and everything that goes along with it… Okay, except for the all nighters that happen once in a while — I could do without those. I wake up every day, albeit in a groggy, half-witted state, and realize the true joy that my career brings. - What’s your favourite quote?
Carpe Diem — (Seize the day). Empowerment is an important aspect of my life. I often feel compelled to share this with others around me. When they get that spark in their eye about life, and what it offers, and feel the drive to take life to task with a sense of urgency, I feel that momentum even more in my own life. It’s a good thing. - Do you want children, if so, how many?
Ooooohhh… Good question. I’ve always said (Perhaps not with a sense of urgency) that I wonder what having children would be like. I don’t really have a fire in my gut about kids yet, but with the right spouse, and the ability to afford a family in a decent, comfortable living situation, I would have a child. I don’t think it’s necessary to have more than one… But who knows what life brings me? - What is one of your biggest fears?
Hmmm. I had to think about this question. I don’t really have any true fears in my life — Something that comes close to a fear would be having a disease which was not curable. On the most part, though, I think fear has no place in day-to-day life — When I take each day with a balanced view, and a positive approach and avoid the unnecessary risks, I find there’s not much room for fear.
Okay — I’d better get back to work. I’m going live with a huge site today that has taken months to finish… I can’t wait to see that deadline behind me!
