It’s all about business today!
It feels nice to have someone come into the office and put their foot down. I’m in wall-to-wall meetings with the CEO, as well as the client/distributor in from England (Yes, the same guy that I met there a month ago). Today has seen a very good start to refocusing the company, and it’s general philosophy. I feel empowered. I like change!
Last night was great — I’m really odd, I know… But I actually enjoy company dinners. We all went to Earl’s and conversed about all sorts of stuff both business related and not. The CEO is even better in person than who I have communicated on the phone with for eight months. He’s a great guy with loads of vision — Certainly someone that I can learn a thing or two from. I’m all ears.
It’s going to be another late night, as we are all taking the client out to the Keg for dinner to shore up the upcoming opportunities with him. I’m looking forward to working with this client’s firm in the future.
I really don’t have much to talk about on a personal front, as my life has been all about business for the past few days. I’m sure I’ll have more to say tomorrow night.
