Welcome to the long weekend…
Yikes, I’m pretty tired this morning. No, not because I was up late last night… I was actually in bed by 11:30. Problem is, I’m still dealing with bouts of insomnia, so I wake up all night long. *sigh*
The movie with Ashleigh was fun — “Shrek 2″ is definitely a flick you want to see in the theatre! There was a good mix of young and old in the theatre, and they all seemed to have a great time. At one point, my neice leaned over to me and said… “Shhh, you are laughing too loud!” Okay, I guess that’s a good indication it’s a good film. My favourite character was “Puss In Boots” played by Antonio Banderas. Oh man, he’s hysterical. Very well done!
Last night, it was off to celebrate Diane’s birthday in New Westminster with my brother and a bunch of her friends. Unfortunately, though, my back was killing me last night, and I didn’t have any medication with me. I stayed for a couple of hours, anyhow… And felt bad when I left by 9:30. Oh well, I guess it’s better to have a limited amount of fun, and leave early than be miserable as they celebrated the night away.
I’m going to work this afternoon, after Vern and I spend some time to clean the house, and then I’m heading out to spend some time with Tammy — Something that I haven’t done nearly enough of lately. In fact, I really haven’t spent any time with her at all in over a month, although Vern and I did run into her and Bruce at Costco last weekend. I can’t wait to catch up with her!

Saw Shrek2 and I killed myself too…. it was great. I went with a friend of mine and his 4 kids, nothing but a good times. I don’t think some of the children got most of the spoofs and comentary (I think they were laughing at me, laughing at the movie) but there was a good mix of humor for all ages.
Ya, Costco….. (explain sometime in the future).
Oh, cold is getting better…errr ummm… I mean, “I’m getting better” -still plugged up though. Have fun this 3 day weekend!

Costco, huh….. I have being working for Costco for 10 years now…. I want out! That’s why I’m back in College.
