Plenty to be happy about!
Okay, let’s see.
I’m a busy chick again. Busy? Um, busy isn’t the correct term. I’m extremely tight with time. Nope, that doesn’t quite cut it either. Suffice to say, I’ve got a bizillion things on my plate today.
But, you know, I couldn’t be happier, nor more productive!
Tonight I’m producing a video for a concept site which I’m putting together for a potentially very large web contract — Neat proposal that I’ve worked with another partnering ad firm on, which will hopefully land us this contract. It’s very exciting to be working on something so cutting edge and fun at the same time. I’m loving it.
And to top it off, as Jeremy’s done theatre work in the past and is bi-lingual, I’m having him do the initial comping video for the site. Who knows… If we get the contract, perhaps this firm will really like his work, and he’ll be in the final offering! It’s going to be a fun night of completely different work for me, and I’m looking forward to it. I always enjoy working with a team, and this will be no exception.
On top of that, I’m doing some more video editing for two other companies which I’m really looking forward to completing. They’re both easy projects, but the end results of my work will be seen by a whole lot of viewers. I love work like that!
Additionally, I’ve just been informed that I’m definitely off to a trade show in New York in September, which I can’t wait to take part in! First off, this chick has never seen New York, and secondly, it’s a spectacular opportunity for me to finally meet some of the names/people I’ve seen previously known only through email and/or phone conversations. It sounds like our CEO wants to have at least one evening to take out prospective clients/technology partners in the Big Apple — I’m all for that. I do best at developing business relationships when I can socialize with them in a relaxed setting. Woo! I can’t wait!
I’ve also got four web projects on the go which are quickly coming to the point where they can go live with their first phase of development. I’m thankful for that, because there’s nothing more rewarding for me than to see a site come to fruition.
Man, I love my job!
On the personal front, I have to say, I’m thrilled! Thrilled, I say! Yay! Finally, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I can just enjoy my off-time with Jeremy and my friends and family without any added stress or anxiety. It’s a nice change… I had an awesome weekend last weekend, and this one coming up is looking like it’s going to be even better!!

Wow! How exciting does your job sound? Where did you go to school?
You’ll have a brilliant time in NY. I’ve been a handful of times for work and it is an amazing place.
Damn chick! I’m jealous!
OK!! Put the crack down! Now… step away from the speed!! Youre going to be just fine….
Hey!! Have you ever noticed how may times you put the word “I” in your sentences?!?! Someone would think this website was all about you or something.
Don’t you know? The world simply can’t stop revolving around Tanya! LOL!
Finally, he’s figured it out.

you will LOVE New York.. I got plenty of pics on my site to hold you over until then. You must eat at Carmines right off Times Square.. it is an awesome Itallian restaurant. and the Pizza at Pizza 33 is the best in NY.
Cheers.
Thanks for the tips, C! I’ll have to have a chat with you before I go and get some other ideas for things to do on my own in the Big City for a few days before work takes over the trip!
Yay! Only 49 days til I go. Sheesh, now that I type that, it seems like a long time.
