Bloody Hell!
Having roommates at times is incredibly irritating. Yes, I know you are reading this, but it’s my blog, and I talk about things that frustrate me sometimes… Self censor if you don’t want to read this.
I get home last night after meeting up with Sandi at The Lift (the new restaurant near Cardero’s) after having a great evening catching up with her, to find that one of my roommates has friends over. Normally, I’m just fine with that. Last night, they were incredibly loud, the house was once again a disaster, many had obviously smoked (I’ll just call it that) in the house, and it was apparent that someone had been in my bedroom. (Two things had been moved around.)
I pay too much for this… On a work night. I’m really quite easy-going when it’s a weekend and I don’t have to get up early the next day. So, I told my roommate in my room away from his friends, that I wasn’t pleased and pointed out why. He didn’t seem terribly apologetic.
Then, I went up to Vern’s and slept on his couch. The smell and the noise was just far too much for me to deal with last night.
Colour me pissed off. I’ll be speaking to both my roommates in detail when I get a chance. Some things have got to change.

Then I should not tell you that my roommate is not only quiet and neat, but he also brought home a box of turtles for us to share over Law & Order last night?
Jen: Maybe he’s trying to tell you something!?
Ugh. My sympathies. That sounds wretched. Home should be… you know, HOME.
UGH is right. Christ, where’s the respect? Not so much. Not the first time. My patience is definitely waning.
S: He’s GOT a girlfriend. He’s just respectful.
