Time Check: One month, two days… NO SPAM!
*Jumping around, waving hands in air, glee-sounds coming from my mouth*
Just over a month ago, I incorporated a number of comment spam-eliminating initiatives on this site to reduce the number of more-than-annoying-and-definitely-problematic spam that was driving me crazy on a daily basis.
The result? After a slight adjustment in my code the second day in, I haven’t had any spam in my comments in a month now. Wheeeeyaaaa! I’m so pleased! Let’s do the math together… About a 150 spammed comments previously PER DAY, to none. My initiatives have helped others, too. Oh. And it’s Friday!!! Life is golden today! I can’t wait to play Carcassonne tonight with the 7 other people that are heading to Vern’s place for some silliness. Good times!
