Chick-night

Ya’know — I had almost forgotten how much Corree loves food. At least, until we went to IGA to hunt and gather dinner and snacks for our sleep-over-movie-night. I think this one line says it all: She’s standing and reading a package of gyoza, while the deli clerk is loading us up on pre-cooked chicken dishes, and in the instructions she reads aloud, it says: Place 5 gyozas (is that the plural of gyoza?) on a tray and cook at 425°. Corree exclaims… “Who eats only 5 gyoza??”

LOL! Um. Me?

We rented “Gothika”, and “Red Dragon” — “Gothika” ended up being much more scary than Corree had anticipated, and half the movie was spent with her either covering her head with the blanket, or grabbing on to me in fright… Too funny! Thankfully, “Red Dragon” isn’t as scary as the others in that series, and she was able to enjoy the movie without spending too much of it covering her eyes.

Needless to say, we both had a wonderful night catching up and doing the chick thing. I have to remind myself to do this far more often. I had a great time, Cor! Thank-you for having me over!
