Yep!

…Packing sucks the big one.

And, I can’t seem to make a choice on furniture options. I need a whole bunch of stuff, yet, I’m dragging my feet on decisions because I haven’t found exactly what I want yet. You wouldn’t think that spending big money on home furnishings would be so difficult, yet I find it excruciating! I *really* hate spending money.

You should go on line to maynards.com and check out there home furnishings auction, they are usually estate sales and sometimes they have some great things, lamps, chairs, coffee tables, alot of the pictures mirrors i got at auction plus it is a blast to go, if you don’t want to attend you can leave absentee bids with a max on them just incase you can’t stop during the thrill of the auction. check it out might be a good option to buying the stuff new.

    T,
What about that place you took me to in Gastown? You seemed to like alot of that stuff.

D… Thanks for the Maynards idea — I’d totally forgotten about that way to go. Perhaps I’ll check it out. Probably not for my couch/chair but accessories would be good!

Rog… Yes, that would be EQ3, and although I’ll likely end up buying from there, the 6 week delivery time is more than a bit insane for me. I can’t go 6 weeks without something to sit on. *sigh* We’ll see.

There’s a furniture store on Granville, north of Broadway by about 2 blocks, that has been going out of business for the last two months. They have great stuff from India and Southeast Asia – beautiful furniture and I believe their prices are pretty rock-bottom right now. Might be just the thing for a few exotic pieces to spice up the place!
