Happy Birthday!!
It’s Jer’s birthday today!! I took him out to Hermitage, located on Robson, last night for dinner. It was a really wonderful evening, and I’m glad I chose that restaurant to surprise him with… It was perfect. He loved it.
That said — We’re both getting old! We took a detour as we walked back to my place, and I thought it was well past 11, and was surprised to hear it wasn’t even 10pm! By the time we got back to my place, we were both pooped.
Tonight, we’re off to go and de-rig some boats before going to Richmond for a family birthday dinner — Can you believe I’ve never met Jeremy’s father before tonight? That’s pretty crazy. Then again, though, he’s never met mine either. We really must correct that soon. (Although, if not before, my Dad is coming to my Martini party, so they’ll definitely meet at that point.)
