Racing weekend is upon us!
I’m off to go and race in the rain in Seattle this weekend! We’re leaving right from work to try to avoid some of the spring break traffic at the border. The Green Lake regatta takes place on Saturday, and we’ve got to be up at the unGodly hour of 5am to be ready to unpack and re-rig the shells at 6am. I will barely be alert when my first race begins at 7:30… I guess I won’t feel the pain that way, anyhow!
Jeremy and I were going to stay down in the Seattle area for Saturday night until we realized that we’d forgotten about the unpacking of the trailer at the Vancouver end on Saturday night — So, we’ll head off for another weekend in a few weeks time. We’re thinking Kelowna… A spring winery tour sounds really nice.

Lol – Trying to leave Vancouver before the rush on a Friday!?!? If you havent left by 11am… you are right in the middle of it.
