How can you tell it’s bunny-time?

In the spirit of Easter, we had a little Easter Egg hunt this morning in the office. Yes, you heard me right…

Problem is, I am so stacked with work today that I had to do it while working. How sad is that? I’m writing a press release, while looking around my office for the rest of the 10 Lindt eggs that Jenn carefully placed in the most ridiculous of places — She put the same in each of our offices before we came in this morning. Vern came in to my office, and laughed because he just couldn’t believe I hadn’t spotted them all yet. Okay, they were obvious, but I was a little preoccupied with finding a better word for “cutting-edge” at the time. (Not exactly the best language to use when referring to a technology partner, in my books.)

And, all I really want to be doing right now is playing with, or at least filling up, my new iPod full of music. It’s killing me! I have had it since yesterday, and I haven’t been able to do more than put one album on it so far. I guess I know where my priorities are.

I can’t wait til tomorrow night! …Sadly, I haven’t been able to find something for my kitchen sitting area (the diningroom stuff is in the solarium) as it’ll be empty once I bring in my huge Ikea desk into the office. It’s time I give it up and put my laptop upstairs. I don’t want my computer equipment out in my socializing area. I also don’t have a platform for my bed yet (remember, the boxspring didn’t fit up the stairs) and no art on my walls. My place is looking more than a little bland still. Oh well, the housewarming will fill the place with friends and family and they’ll be too busy socializing to notice… Hopefully!

I think apartments are SUPPOSED to be a bit bland for a housewarming.. makes that “filling with friends and family” thing way more enjoyable. :)

Ahh, yes — You are so right, Devon. I kinda missed the point, didn’t I?

Perhaps I will get a couple of people to bring those folding camping chairs for the small kitchen sitting area — What’s a housewarming without ‘filler furniture’ anyhow? heheh…
