My quick post…
Hi guys! I’m still alive, and yes, feeling much better today. Yesterday wasn’t too bad, but being at work until midnight really wasn’t much fun. …The not fun part was due to the fact that I’d prefer to work from home on my outside projects, but Jer was working on firewall issues at the office last night, so I had to be there. Besides, what kind of girlfriend would I be leaving him to work from home, albeit a block and a half away?
I’m working from home tonight, though. I’ll be up late, because I really need to get a working draft finished for the deadline tomorrow. Because I’ve been working practically non-stop this week, I’ve become a complete SLOTH — No rowing for me this week. I just can’t afford the time away from my work (which would amount to about 3.5 hours on both Monday and Wednesday night.) Next week, though, I’m back to regularily scheduled programming because I simply need to row. Missing a couple of practices has really been bad for my conditioning…
I had an incredible time last weekend with Jeremy up in Kelowna! He did a great job of detailing our adventures below, but I’d just like to add that meeting S&R really enhanced our wine-tour-day! They were a lot of fun, and Jer and I both had a great time at dinner with them.
I’ve got photos to post, but I just can’t spare any time tonight to organize and upload them. I will attempt to make time tomorrow during lunch, though!
UPDATE: 12:35am — The photos are up. I took a quick break from the grind and posted both the Wine Country photos, as well as Jenn & Paul’s wedding photos.

Hi You! Good to finally be able to get you on the phone for a few minutes tonight. I still think it’s crazy that I have to call you past midnight in order to find you able to talk.
Great photos! Wish I had time to get off this damm island to go and do something like that. I’m coming to visit very soon!
