Personal Day!!
What better way to spend a Monday, than to take a personal day? Yep — That’s what I was up to today. One vacation day = Happier Tanya.
Well, it was *almost* completely about me today, anyhow. I did have lunch with a client, but he’s my favourite client, and I always walk away from visits with him feeling good, so that doesn’t count as not taking the full day to myself.
Included in my day was also a visit to INspiration Furniture, where I found the coffee table (and maybe a desk, because I sold my huge Ikea one to work) that I’ll buy soon… And a trip to the Facial Rejuvenation Clinic where I found out that I need to spend a hell of a lot of money to take care of some skin issues that are becoming worse due to over a dozen plastic surgeries on my face (ruptured capiliaries, pressure scars, etc. which may not look obvious due to my makeup use, but are starting to annoy me) and finally to come back out to the car (I borrowed Vern’s today) to find I’m a moron and got a parking ticket. Sorry Vern — I’ll call in and pay for it tomorrow. How quickly I forget to look at parking time signs!
So, it was a very productive day, that saw me getting a lot of little stuff done… I wish I had another 8 hours to get the rest of my loose ends cleared up, but it’s a start. Now I’m off to get ready to row in the rain. Yay for rowing!
