Right back on that horse!
Errr, motorcycle! I’m booked for a refresher course for 3.5 hours, and then a weekend of playing in traffic with a senior instructor from the BC Safety Council. I’ve still got a couple of weeks to get my knee to a place where I can sit on a motorcycle for two days of instruction over a weekend, which I believe will be plenty of time to recouperate, and get the necessary gear to ride safely.
Thank you again, Jer, for the most amazing and generous birthday gift.

Excellent! Good for you for getting back on it! It’s more than many people would do. I’m proud of you for that
wooHOO!
btw, if you don’t have full gear yet, I can loan you mine for a day here or a day there — certainly for your course if you want. If I remember correctly, we’re roughly the same size, although I think you’re taller, which may be an issue… but worth a try, perhaps? I’ve also got a few pairs of spare gloves as well if Jeremy doesn’t have any.
Thanks Donna! That’s sweet of you… But, I’ve got a helmet on order, the jacket that I had before is still wearable (albeit, a bit scraped up, it’s still in good condition) and I’m buying riding pants this weekend. Gloves I’ve got… Just wasn’t wearing them because it was hot that day (I’m a dumbass!). I’ve got boots too…
Sounds like a great plan girl. good for you
d
good for you! personally, i wouldn’t go near one. but then again, i’m such a wuss that i wouldn’t have gotten near one in the first place.
