I have several things I want to write about today, but I think I’ll leave all but one until a later date when I’m better prepared to put my thoughts to words.
For today, I think I’ll keep things shallow and superficial. Yes, that’s right, I want to discuss hair. Lately, I have this super huge pet peeve about my hair. It’s not fair… I was born with curly hair, and said hair looks like complete and total SHIT when I take my helmet off after only riding a few short minutes on my bike. No matter what I do, the moment the helmet goes on, the hair frizzes. I’ve tried pigtails, braids, a ponytail, leaving it loose (that’s the worst). Flat I understand, sweaty makes sense, but why the hell does my hair have to go so freekin’ frizzy with the helmet?
I’ve got this sexy new Icon helmet on order — Jeremy is kind enough to bring it back from Montana for me this coming week. I think it’s gorgeous, and maybe I’ll just wear the freekin’ thing ALL THE TIME and not take it off. I hate my hair that badly after it’s been stuck in a helmet. Might I add, no amount of haircare products after the fact, or before for that matter, make a bit of difference. I must wash the hair to get it back to some degree of normalcy. This just isn’t possible when I’m out with friends for the evening, and happen to have used my bike to get there.
This is officially a cry for help. Does anyone have any ideas, or do I just continue to look unkempt when I go out riding?

Being the Holder of the Helmet, I have to say quite honestly that the pic doesn’t do it justice. It rawks. I want one for myself.
Ahh, but have you tried on the new Icons? They’re quite amazing, and NOT plastic!
arai. no substitute.
Congrats Chris: I knew someone would respond with that. You just happened to do it first. Not an option!
Very funny, Todd. I seem to recall you wearing a hairnet not that long ago. Sexy!
shaving my head worked for me!
but growing it out has left me with the same problem. Not so much with the frizzies, but with the cowlicks.
I do not like it when cows lick my head.
Annoyingly, my hair USED to look perfect after the helmet came off. When it was long, the helmet flattened out that weird wave… *sigh*
Cool helmet.. sorry about your helmet head!! maybe u can wear a hair net first?
I know thats what they use when working in a restaurant, and it keeps the hair together..
Do you have the complete red suit to go with your helmet? If you do, the Power Rangers are looking for someone to replace the other guy..
haha
love you
todd!!
haha – shave yer head!
