Arrrrgh.

Please tell me, that I’m not the only one with this reaction to Depo.

Every 3 months for 4.5 years now, this has been an *issue*. Come on, girls — I’m sure you know what I’m talking about? Except, tonight, I believe, is the first time I’ve had to deal with this without an, um, outlet.

I’m pulling out all of my hair. I’m taking solice in the fact that this issue usually subsides in about 12 hours. God help me until then, that’s all I can say.

I just stumbled onto your websight, and thought I should let you know that your not to stay on depo more than two years. I just found this out myself after being on it for almost 5 years. Just letting you know.

Hi Kasey! Thanks for your heads up… I was actually aware of this already, and have taken a bunch of steps to mitigate the bone loss — weight bearing exercises regularily, calcium/vit D/magnesium daily, and I’ve just found a new much lower form of depo that is just as effective without the significant issues (although, there are still a few).

    Thanks for visiting!
