We either choose to acknowlege the hurt and go forward or we allow it to pound us to a pulp. In the past I've been pounded more than I care to remember or admit. My problem is that I'm very open: what you see is what you get and sometimes, people make rash judgements on who I am and decide I'm not good enough to be their friend and it hurts, esp now that I'm beginning this U program and one of my goals out of the program is to make friends in Vancouver....
