'Twas a dark and stormy night!
EWW YUCK! What happened to our weather that I could actually boast about for the last several months? Today was horrific — Sheet rain for most of the day, and quite honestly, it seemed like it was dusk for the entire day… So DARK!
Welcome to Fall, folks. It’s here, and it’s here to stay for a while.
And, just when I’m off for a ROAD TRIP to celebrate my class 6! Well, rain isn’t going to keep me away… We’re off to the Sunshine Coast this weekend! My old, old, old stomping grounds! Wow, what a trip. Literally!
Thank goodness I bought a tank bag last week to carry a change of dry clothes in, and warm gloves! I’m still having ‘plug-in’ envy though. I’m sure that envy will grow to ‘plug-in’ DESIRE/ABSOLUTE NEED before Saturday’s out!
ps: Jen, I’m glad I ran into you tonight on my way home! (We live in such a small city, don’t we?) It was great to have you over for a glass or two of wine — It’s been too long, chick.

Ya, it’s weird!! It’s been *very* quiet on the local front on everyone’s Vancouver blogs, though, from what I’ve seen. Very strange indeed!
Michele’s site has a lot of fun people with a huge variety of blogs though, so it’s nice to have been able to meet these new people!
Yes, I’m looking forward to this short time away on my bike! It’ll be the longest time I’ll have ridden yet!
