Help! I'm jiggling!

The signs have surfaced over the last several weeks: I’ve been lethargic, under the weather, physically weak, and mentally unfocussed. The problem? My activity level, due to recent illness, lack of a rowing partner, and my workload, has all but disappeared of late.

This morning, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw what my eyes having been avoiding — I’m turning into a jiggly mess! Yes, it’s only 15 pounds, but 15 pounds means I’m not feeling comfortable in my skin anymore and I’m not fitting my clothes the way I used to.

It’s time to take action! I need to schedule time to focus on my training and conditioning. Finding time, after everything else is scheduled, is obviously *not* working. I know I can do better than this…

By the way… Thanks Vern! You are my inspiration! I can’t believe you’ve decided to CLIMB MOUNT KILIMANJARO

with only two weeks preparation, and no serious training beforehand. I know you can do it! And, if you can do that, I can certainly lose 15 pounds by Christmas!

    Here ya go. Its 14 minutes m->f in the mornings. Takes a few weeks before you can go the full time but by the end of it you’ll be in fine shape for rowing.

    ugh, jiggling has been my longest problem. and it’s not so much the body fat issue, it’s the tonnes of extra weight that is left flappin’ in the air.

    i think you look great! but if you feel like you want to tone your body and get into better shape, then all the power to you. my unsolicited tips are to drink lots of water and to really push yourself when you work out..that’s when you see real results.
