Half-way point!
My weekend, thus far, has been completely enjoyable! Thursday night, seven of us chicks headed out for some girl-time at Delilah’s and then Balthezar, where we enjoyed some fabulous martinis and great conversation. Thanks everyone for making it out — It was really nice to have some estrogen time!
Last night, I made my way out to my Dad’s (and his wife’s) place in Surrey, so that I could catch a ride out to Bridal Falls with them — It was a surprise birthday celebration, as mentioned in my Thursday post, for my brother-in-law… He’s turning thirty next week! My sister put on an awesome party with a casino theme, complete with fake money, and table games. Good times! It was so much fun to catch up with so many people I haven’t seen in what seems like forever. As it was quite late by the time we got back into civilization (sorry D, but Bridal Falls is waaaaaay out there!) I stayed the night at my Dad’s, and took the skytrain home this morning.
I’m currently at work, catching up on a few hours that I missed on Thursday afternoon — Blog post to follow on that gong-show day up until 7:30! I really need a nap just now, but instead, I’m heading for coffee…
