Relaxation, discovered!
Today, my Mom and I went to the spa, and found bliss… In the form of pure pampering and relaxation. I took her for a belated birthday gift, and felt a little guilty enjoying the experience so much — It was afterall, her birthday, not mine!
I’ve been to several spas over the years, but I have to say, SpaUtopia at the Pan Pacific tops the list. My esthetician, Mara, provided incredible service, and a rejuvinating, much needed facial for myself, while my Mom enjoyed her pedicure.
When the pampering was over, and we headed off to have dinner before the movie that we’d planned to see tonight, all I wanted to do was go back and have another treatment… Or, curl up into a blissful little ball and have a snooze. But, we did make it to dinner and the movie, and tried hard not to yawn too much. I have to say, “Weather Man” might be getting good reviews, but it’s a downer movie. Not one I’d recommend, especially if you are looking for something fun.
But, despite the movie, the day was spectacular! I’m so glad I had this day with my Mom.
