We’ve got a GO for liftoff! (Look out Europe, Tanya’s coming to town!)
WAHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I got my tour! I’m confirmed to spend two weeks exploring Western Europe!! And, after which, I’m just as thrilled to be heading to the South of France, and then Sweden for the last weekend. God… I CAN’T WAIT! I’m so excited!
And, yes… Ask my colleagues here at work. I did indeed jump up and down and giggle with glee.

Hey, I have time off around then! Maybe I could come along? I’ll stay out of your hair! We’d have a great time!
Tempting Jay… But… I’m gonna pass! I’m really looking forward to traveling on my own, and besides, I think I got the last spot on the tour.
You should go and visit your friends in Austrailia that you’ve been meaning to do! …It’s summer there!
Just talked to J about getting an extra day off. I’m coming back Monday now instead of Sunday… So a full weekend in Sweden before I head back to Heathrow! Yay!
Whoooooooo! Yay! So exciting! Perhaps we should meet up at Urban instead so you can really partake in some drinks to celebrate? :>
There should be plenty ‘o snow btw… (you are heading to the Alps afterall)
Thanks guys! I’m actually going to be bringing my wireless ipaq, so that I can blog along the way when I can steal wireless internet access! Such a geek am I.
heheh… Stay tuned for drunken blogging from at least Paris, and Venice! (Ya gotta have at least one tipsy blog entry while on vacation, no?!?)
And, I’ll have internet access for the rest of the 9 days I’ll be in Europe (after my tour), so I’ll definitely try to stay current here!
awesome! From what I heard, Contiki is a great time!
congrats lucky girl!
I’m super jealous! make sure to take lotsa photos
I *still* fit in a garment bag.
Otto: I love snow!!!!
D: Hah. You’ll be in Hawaii.
Wowzers!
14 days, eh? Nice. Not really a great time of year to be going. Expect some rain.
None-the-less, should be a great time.
Geez. Well, then, maybe I should cancel!
Hahah! I don’t care if it’s raining — I’d rather be dealing with RAIN IN VENICE than rain in Vancouver on New Years!
Welcome to Europe
nah, I’m not going to Hawaii until February. Plenty of time for me to jetset around in your carryon luggage!
if you make a detour to Barcelona I promise a glass (or two) of champagne. Enjoy your trip!!! saw you at Michele’s today.
We have wine in Mouries, too, you know. In fact, we buy it by the 5 litres. There’s plenty of drunken blogging going on here – such things don’t happen only in Paris and Venice.
Heheh! Yes, but I thought we’d be sobering up on our “Mary Poppins” bikes on the way back from the wineries… But, then, I forgot that you guys empty out your water bottles to buy wine by the litre. (How could I forget that??)
I can’t wait!
Sounds like a marvelous, wonderful, spectacular time! Can’t wait to hear the stories and see the pictures–the ones that you are able to share, at least!
Fantastic plans! I look forward to drunken ipaq updates from on the road….ciao bella!
Hi Carla! Welcome… Glad you made it by!
Thanks guys! I’m definitely getting excited now…
*jealous*
