No mistletoe in my home, yet.

It’s true, I absolutely love the Christmas season, but this year, I don’t know. I just can’t be bothered to pull out all the Christmas stuff, and decorate my home. It’s so strange for me to not be ‘decking the halls’ by this time of year, but I guess it seems like a lot of work, when I won’t even be home Christmas Day…

I’ve got the Christmas spirit sort of going, and maybe I’ll change my mind, but I’m just not feeling very “Jolly Ho Ho Ho” at the moment. It’s especially this time of year when I’d love to be sharing the season with someone special, and around every corner there’s reminders that I don’t really have anyone particularily close to do that with.

Maybe I just have a lot going on right now, and once my head gets around those things, I’ll be able to jump into the season with my true Christmas Spirit. I hope that happens soon.

You know what guys, you are right… I’m not going to stress about my lackluster Christmas spirit yet. Hopefully, I’ll find it.

You can still have Christmas Spirit and not have the energy to drag out all the decorations. Use your energy wisely. Perhaps choose just a few special decorations. There are no “shoulds” about how much your hose has to wear for Christmas.
