A ray of light…
The sun is actually SHINING through my office window right now. It’s been a very long time since I’ve actually had difficulty seeing my lcd screen because the sun is unfiltered and washing my screen out… Wow! I crave more sunny days here in Vancouver. With snow on the ground.
I actually think we’re breaking records here for lack of sun in the month of November — Heck, even the ski hills opened earlier than ever before this year, 3 weeks ago. I just wish we could have the best of both worlds in this city, but that’s not how it works. With the rain comes the lush environment year-round. But, with rain also comes a whole lot of people around me suffering from (S)easonal (A)ffective (D)isorder — I wonder how many those people realize they are afflicted by this debilitating illness in our dark months here in Vancouver, or simply think it’s just a down cycle in their lives?
I live for bright days. I’m so happy today is one of them!

Tan! That’s a beautiful photo, where did you steal it?
Did you know that I used to suffer from SAD? My doctor put me on light therapy and a ton of vit D and it has gone away completely!
