Yay! part 2
Okay, that first post with nothing on it was too funny!
I had started to write a post yesterday and hit some sort of key combination and it disappeared. I thought I’d accidentally cleared it, so I closed the window and went back to work thinking I’ll try again later.
Alrighty, I’m very excited that I’m no longer homeless or of No Fixed Address! My ex-wife and I sold our place last month, when we split up two years ago we decided to hang onto it as an investment, during the split she was offerred and accepted a job in the Northwest Territories and moved there.
Since the sale, I’ve been staying with my wonderful girlfriend, and a few nights at Tanya’s while she’s been away. I probably could have found a place for January, but the idea of searching for; and moving into a place over the Christmas/New Years insanity was a bit much to contemplate.
Since I’ve been living in Vancouver I’ve lived over on the East Side on Commercial. Great area and I’ve loved it. But I’ve always wanted to live downtown or in the West End. Now’s my chance! I found a place here, west of Denman half a block away from the park.
I get to sign all the paperwork today, I’m so looking forward to having a place to call my own.

congrats Al! living downtown definitely has its perks, the wonderful restaurants being one of them. we’ll have to celebrate with a fun wine tasting somewhere since i still have so much to learn.
