is winter over yet? Bring on the sunshine and gravel/sand free roads
Although I’m a die hard skier and have just started to get my fix of skiing now that the mountains have snow; I’m jonesing in a big way to take out Gizmo again.
I had to park Gizmo when I was going through the hell that was selling my house and putting everything into storage(including poor Gizmo), but spring is coming and I’m planning a nice little four day road trip with Jason(he’s in the middle, I’m on the left and Nelly is on the right). We’re heading to Prince Rupert via the Coastal passage ferry out of Port Hardy. Already it’s all I’ve been able to think about lately; even though Mt. Baker received 9 feet of snow last week that’s begging for me to rip it up in the trees, bring on the steeps and deeps!
Heck, I’ve already been scoping out different bikes for this coming season too. Sigh… All over the place on that one. I almost think I need two bikes. One an adventure tourer that would equally be at home on the dirt as well as the pavement on the eventual road trip to Alaska, something like the Suzuki V-Strom 1100, and keep a sport bike around like a newer Katana or a Honda VFR(both classed as sport-tourers – OH THE AGONY! 
) but no Kawi’s, cause Kawi=Junk tee hee, sorry Donna! couldn’t resist myself.
Anyhow, what are you looking forward to for the upcoming change of seasons?

hehe… I’m here. Sorta. I’m pulling out all my hair at the moment, and my mouth is sore from a broken molar…
I’ll be updating shortly (hope tomorrow?) and posting photos too!
…And, I’m looking forward to getting the Black Beast back on the road, and rowing out on the water instead of ergging indoors for a change!!
Hi Tan! Here in NC it gets kinda cold but with the exception of a day here or there, you can cycle all Winter long. And kayak too. You just have to dress warm. Ha!
I’m sorry you have to stay off your bike for so long but Spring will eventually arrive.
