How incredibly thoughtful is he??
It’s no surprise that on Friday I wasn’t exactly having the best day at work. I’d planned on staying later at the office than I did, except that the fire alarm started going off. Alot.
I had a baaad headache by the end of the day, and I just couldn’t take it anymore.
So, I went home. It was close to 7pm, anyhow, so it wasn’t like I was leaving early…
I had actually forgotten (it was a super busy day on Friday) that M had called me earlier and said he’d like to use the key (I still can’t believe he asks to use the key that I gave him so he could gain access to my place when he needs/wants to) to drop off something for me. I walked in the door, and there on the kitchen table was a card, and a gift bag.
The card was really thoughtful… And, inside the bag was a yummy bottle of wine, a funny book, bubble bath, a candle, and chocolate. Suddenly, my fairly stressful, deadline-ridden day melted away. I was so touched by his thoughtful gesture — He’d gone completely out of his way to drop it by before going home.
How lucky am I to have someone that sweet?

That was incredibly sweet of him. My sweetie almost brought my flowers when he picked me up from the airport last night but him picking me up was plenty wonderful.
