Taking a moment to be thankful:

I’m thankful for…

  • Waking up this morning to a beautiful, sunny, crisp morning in Vancouver. This city is so incredible!
  • The warm, delicious (non-starbucks) mocha in my hand, and especially for those four shots of espresso in it.
  • A remarkably sweet, and thoughtful boyfriend who doesn’t mind when I drool on his chest.
  • A career that I love. Creating campaigns and designing media, while making someone else’s business life more profitable by doing so, is so damned rewarding.
  • My family, which just like every other family has it’s bumps in the road, are all ultimately the most important part of my life. I adore spending time with them.
  • Good friends who understand when my life sometimes takes over and I don’t call for weeks. I know they understand, and that when we do share time together, it’s like it was only yesterday that we were laughing or sharing a drink.
  • Chocolate. ‘Nuff said there!
  • My health. Even when I have yucky days, I know that I’m incredibly lucky to be healthy and able to enjoy my life without worry.
  • The fact that the weekend has almost arrived. Because, I really need it.
  • Music, because it augments and enhances my most amazing emotions.

What are you thankful for?

btw — we should do coffee or something soon. Now that I’m blissfully unemployed (or at least, will be in 7 hours) I have all this free time to reconnect with people!

I’m thankful for giddy, slobbery dogs and an overly affectionate cat who are always thrilled to see me and put me in a happy mood regardless of what else is going on in my day.

I’m also thankful that I haven’t burnt a lot of bridges in my day – you never know who from your past is going to unexpectedly give you a call with an offer…;)

I’m thankful that I recently scored my 2000m PB ever but then had the common sense to get lazy until all the real work starts next week!

YAY! Lara got a GRAVATAR! (cute, darlin’!)

Rog, you are an inspiration, following your dream… And, yes, dear… I’ll call. I’m sorry… Ask around, you are far from the only one I’ve neglected lately. I’m feeling terrible about that.
