ACK!

I really, really, really, really, really HATE MOVING.

Someone thump me over the head if I even mention doing it again for a very long time.

The only good thing I can say about today is… It’s the last day living in this place. Tomorrow I’ll be in a beautiful new home, and officially co-habitating with my Sweetheart. It actually does make all this stress and physical pain worth it. (Stupid, nagging back injury!)

Is it tomorrow yet?

What’s everyone else looking forward to this weekend? TGIF!!!

i refuse to move without movers.

which in australia, are called “removalists”. for some reason, i find that very funny.

Who needs movers??? Just offer your two best male mates (or your boyfriend’s two best mates) a case of beer if they help you move. They may try to raise the stakes and ask for a case each, but even then it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than what you’d pay for movers and you can pursuade them to share the booze around once the job is done!!!
    How’s that for thinking?

You know Tanya – my muscles – besides just being, well big – are also good for lifting boxes if you want help. Or I can swing by tomorrow a.m. after my workout and provide idle chatter and distraction.

Tonight I’m celebrating my volleyball team’s greatness in the beer league at our awards drinkfest. I think we actually get a trophy!

Also looking forward to a second date with someone who I had a blast with last week. If you can believe it I think I have found someone almost as competitive as I. Last week we tied in pitch and putt – this weekend – bocce ball and scrabble!

Congratulations, Tanya, on this move. It sounds like you just love the new place and it’s not often you get a new place and a nearly new guy all at once! LOL

Your description of the view from your apartment was great. We want pictures! I hope the new landlord gets better with time. She sounds a little annoying.

I hope you don’t get too sore from all that lifting and hauling, Tan.

Hi Lara, congrats on your volleyball wins, and on happy dating. Yeah!

And my Tanya, my Sweetie, my Darlin, just think of that first morning when we get to wake up in our new place, with our beautiful view, and looking forward to absolutely blissful times ahead… we’re almost there!

Bastards! They’ve foiled my attempts to stop spam again! I’ll be deleting the above mess shortly. Time to investigate another method to stop spam…

T, You might want to go over to http://www.wordpress.org or here:

for some extra spam killer programs. I have three plugins installed, and they seem to stop these guys from ever getting passed my moderation page. Once in a while a lucky spammer makes it to the moderation page, but never posts.

Happy Moving–it will be all worth it once you are in your new pad!
    :D
