The long weekend is upon us!
This morning, I said goodbye to the Black Beast, after giving her new owner the run-down on her little issues and attitude. It was heartbreaking to watch her zoom off into the next chapter of her adventures. She was so much fun to ride…
And then, I said hello to a new-to-me ‘Urban Barn’ chair for the living room. Al had actually mentioned that he wanted to sell it several weeks ago, and it completely slipped my mind. It’s a really neat piece of furniture which is covered with leopard print fabric that will compliment our current furniture. I hope Michael likes it… I wanted to make sure I didn’t lose out on the great deal Al offered me for it, as he was about to place it in a Craig’s List ad.
This weekend marks the first mini adventure that Michael and I will have shared! We’re off to Parksville to participate in my family reunion… My brother Todd, Diane, and my niece will be sharing a multiple room-room with Michael and I at the resort we’re all gathering at. It should amount to some great laughs — Which we all need right now. Bring on the silliness, I say!

Heading over to the island myself, with the boy and a dozen friends, to hang out at his parents’ lodge and do some quality relaxing.
And that is one seriously kickass chair!

Weekend! Good times. I have exactly ZERO clients booked – I’m making them all wait until next week – and as of now I’m already down 1/2 bottle of wine. I don’t know what we’re actually doing, but work is not on the list.
