Happy Easter!
I hope everyone had a really nice Easter weekend! We spent ours in Parksville at a seaside resort attending a family reunion of sorts. I say, of sorts, because many of the family weren’t there — But, it was nice to catch up with the ones that were. Sadly, my niece, who’s birthday was on Thursday, had a break out of chicken pox, and had to be quarantined for the weekend in our suite. That sucked for her. Oh well, at least she’ll always remember her 10th birthday, huh?
I must say, it was fun to share the cabin-like suite with my brother and Diane though — God, those two made us laugh.
Michael and I went for a little shopping trip in Nanaimo on Saturday for a break from all the socializing and scored a really cool martini shaker, some great cheese knives, and some cutting boards to go with the cheese knives. We finally have something to serve all of the yummy cheeses on for next weekend’s awesome Housewarming Party!
We’re certainly not ready to get back to work, but at least we get to go and pick up the sweet leopard print chair from Al tonight, thanks to Rog’s help and truck! Oh, and we’re grabbing some sushi with Rog, his girl Tracey, and Al… Just to cap off the long weekend.
Okay Monday, I guess I’m ready for you to arrive… Bring it on!
