Weekend was great… Having a super-busy week!

First off: Thanks to all you amazing friends who made it out to the housewarming party last Saturday! Michael and I thoroughly enjoyed the night, and it was great to see everyone! I hope you all had as much fun as we did…

Hopefully, I’ll have time this week to post some photos from the evening on Flickr — I’ll give you a heads up when I do!

It’s been an incredibly busy week at work for me so far, as we’re rolling out a new service/product, and it’s taking a lot of my input. On top of that, I’m basically juggling two very distinct roles at work, which has me more than a little harried at the moment. I’m looking forward to a time when I can focus on the marketing end, and leave the web and flash coding stuff to someone else… It’ll happen. Eventually.

Finally, Michael and I have found a new guilty pleasure for late-night relaxation: (Get your mind outa the gutter!) Neither of us have watched “Six Feet Under” before, but have rented the first season on DVD, and are enjoying the episodes immensely! How did we miss this show until now? In fact, we’ve elected to not watch “Grey’s Anatomy” or “Desperate Housewives” until the seasons are available on DVD later this year — Man, is it ever nice to view the whole season over a couple of weekends without commercials! The only show we’re actually following these days on broadcast tv is “Medium” on Monday nights!

Which of course has me to wondering… What are you all looking forward to being released on DVD, or are you still watching tv the conventional way?

Fame. Best show ever, hands down. I have been petitioning for it for years to be released on DVD but apparently there is no other interest (sigh). If anyone knows the process in deciding the release of these things please do let me know!

Glad the party was good, sorry I missed it!

Excactly how is it that you haven’t discoverd 6 feet under until now? Doesn’t matter… Now that you have discovered it, what you are going to find is that the show is somehow more addictive than cigarettes! Me?… I am a 6FU addict and also a fairly regular user of The West Wing on DVD…

  • NetChick says:

Ha! You guys all have some ‘unique’ tastes! Interesting…! (She says with a grin)

Greatest American Hero? Fame? The Ali G Show? The Jamie Oliver show?

And, poor Daren actually sits through “WNTW”? Yikes! Poor guy. Then again, M actually enjoys the ones with the men being ripped apart, so maybe there’s something to that!

Howdy!! The weekend was a blast – thanks for taking us all into your home like the bunch of big-pawed sightly overenthusiastic puppies we all are! It was fun putting faces/voices to the names.

DVDs…hmmmm. Well now that the entire run of the X-Files is out, I’d have to say….The Muppet Show.

I can almost hear the collective lifting of eyebrows.

The first season was released months ago and now someone appears to be asleep at the switch….I want my Alice Cooper episode damnit!!

    3 words.

    Greatest. American. Hero.

Best show… ever. Pretty sure its not on DVD tho. Maybe I should start a petition.

Oh, that and Arrested Development. So underated.

I’m actually awaiting the release of the current season of Alias. I didn’t get into it until last year through the beauty of Netflx, and sadly didn’t finish with the 4th (or 5th?) season until too late–a few episodes into this season.

And I’ll be danged it’s tough trying to avoid the spoilers and the spoilerific previews every week!
