Thank You For Smoking is worth seeing!
Finally, a movie worth going to! Michael and I recently saw “Thank You For Smoking” at Tinseltown, and really enjoyed all 92 minutes of this flick. It’s obviously got a message, but it’s also got humour, and a talented group of actors whos’ characters I completely bought into.
I was expecting something a lot less light-hearted, and was pleased with the direction the movie took. As Cherryl Dawson and Leigh Ann Palone, of THEMOVIECHICKS.COM said:
Warning: This film may cause you to laugh at things you feel you shouldn’t, but it’s not detrimental to your health in any way, shape, or form (honest).”
…That’s about right! Go see it.

Really want to see that movie, and also the Al Gore one. Maybe this weekend I’ll take myself on a date.

yay netchick is ALIVE!!!
Thanks for the cinematic advice. I’m lookin’ up the listings as we speak.
I’ll second that! The performances were all quite remarkable, but Aaron Eckhart owned that film.
Sounds like my kind of show – I’ll have to check it out. Glad to see you back!
