Weekend round-up…
Mondays.
ARRGH. I feel like I’m being pulled in far too many directions this morning (err, afternoon now, I guess). I guess I better start making lists, because right now, I’m feeling quite overwhelmed. I’m sure it’ll pass.
This weekend was really great! The white water rafting was an absolute blast, and certainly was the highlight of the trip for both M and I. I only wish we were out on the water longer! Of the four rafts on the water, ours was definitely far and away the most fun — Our guide was great, and our fellow paddlers (God, it feels funny typing that, after rowing for so many years) were a ton of fun. We christened our raft “Stayin’ Alive”, which we screamed in delight after every rapid situation we encountered. Both Michael and I took photos with the waterproof camera, which I hope worked out. Being conventional film (man, how old school is that??) I’ll go and get it developed in the next few days, and post them here…
Food, our second highlight of our weekend, was delish all the way around. We hit “Monks Grill” on Friday night, and had a nice, albeit slightly rushed meal, and “Quattro’s” on Saturday night was unbelievably good. Okay, the 2.5 bottles of wine/champagne that we consumed helped the evening, (haha) but, the food was very good. I highly recommend it!
My stomach, for the most part (we’ll just forget the Friday night set-back) held up, and we got lots of naps and jacuzzi time in — All adding up to a really nice weekend. I want to go back and do it again next weekend

And, Rog… Christ, guy, you fly helicopters! A big, bad whitewater wave isn’t going to hurt ya. You guys should come!
