You see, there’s this bright light…
…At the end of a tunnel. It’s getting larger and larger, beconing me closer as each day starts anew. It’s kind of scary, this light, or perhaps the path to it is. But, as I get nearer to the end of this path, the weight and fear that I’ve been labouring with recently, are lifting.
You’d think I was dying or something. And, quite honestly, a few days ago, the chest pain from the stress of it all certainly had me worried. Yes, I’m talking about my career, not death, and finally today, the path seems to be better lit by that shining light at the end of the tunnel. Although I’d never completely given up hope for success, this past week has left me very concerned about what the future held. Today, after a horrible week, I finally feel strongly that there is a very bright future ahead of me here.
I guess we all hit these forks in the road. I’m glad that I’ve chosen to stay the course and run forth with vigor towards all those great rewards that lie ahead.
Thought of the day: People can rise above any adversity as long as their fears are allievated. The power of positive thought is quite incredible… This is becoming more and more true as life goes on for me.
Is it the long weekend yet? I’m so lookin’ forward to that BBQ that some of you are able to attend!
